Just receive the mail from the builder regading following surcharge before building permit
A Report and Consent is required from Council for Building within an uncontrolled overland drainage area. The cost for this is $211.15.
A Report and Consent is required from Council due to non-compliance with Regulation 414 rear setback of 2.584m in lieu of 5 metres. The cost for this is $217.50.
A Report and Consent is required from Council due to non-compliance with Regulation 417. Garage on boundary obstructing adjoining owners north facing habitable room window. The cost for this is $217.50.
Unfortunately we will have to do a post contract variation for obtaining these reports which we have to pass onto you. This will just go onto your last progress payment at settlement of your new home.
Just wondering all of above surcharge is reasonable or not? How to argue with them to waive it
