Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Jul 04, 2025 1:10 am What ever you do don’t get your house build by them nor sign any house and land packages deals. 3.5 years it took me to get the house build. With further cost involved due to their excuses of ‘COVID’ etc. Regardless the house quality is appalling. Paint work is horrendous, uneven, patches everywhere and not use proper primer nor the right coating. Leaking ceiling now appearing due to the wet weather from the last few days. Blocked drainage and poor plumbing workmanship within 1st week of moving in. The list goes on…they are a peasant to deal with and they don’t take accountability of their crappy work considering they use sub-contractors. I’m more concerned about the integrity of the build, thinking that one day this house might collapse. DIY, Home Maintenance & Repair Thanks Laila, The builder is Homegroup, they say it's no longer covered as it's not structural. I don't believe this type of cracking should happen under normal… 2 3315 yes you can remove single tiles and repair the waterproofing.
