So happy that our choices ended up being ok

I guess it's one of those I wish they did display homes so we could see the different colours! But alas I don't think they ever will... how did you find doing your colours?

Yes, we wished there had been a display home too! It took us quite a while to decide on the colours and the bricks, roof etc.

I'm going to post up a few pics of our colour selection over the weekend. A little bit paranoid at the moment re the external look of the house - we hope it will all come together!

The Roos are exciting for little ones aren't they, miss 5 gets so excited when the Roos are about.

Love the lounge

we've set ours up the same, so many people comment on how awesome it looks just because it's in the U shape which is just a bit different

The panel glides look fab!! I love ours, they just add a touch of something nice to our family area

Can't wait for more photos

The couch is super comfy too! Mind you I have only just locked everything in so that it's not sliding all over the place each time the kids sit on it

although it was great entertainment for a bit!

Lol I saw the couch originally on yours and when I actually saw it I fell in love! It's sooo comfy! And glad we went the dark colour.

Sounds like the modular couch is the way to go. We were at the local James Lane in Twba a few weeks back when we were still dreaming we would be in the house by now...
the nice sales lady showed us all the different kinds of lounges to choose from.. really liked the idea of the modular couch but agree, worried it end up with smooshed child in between.

She did say you can buy some links to hold them together so might still get it coz then you can change the shape whenever you want.

don't like that she keeps trying to call me to follow-up though. Feel like being hounded by a telemarketer...

Ours had the little latches already underneath

I would hate to think you're going to spend a decent amount on a couch to have to put your own latches under it!

That would so turn me off wanting to go back and buy a couch or anything that they are selling.... I hate being pestered about making purchases! You feel like yelling at them to bugger off

Our modular from Harvey has the clips under it but like flea I would hate to think we spent over $2k on our lounge and having to buy our own clips

We will be making a trip to Twba next weekend with the view to finalise our new lounge selection for the media room. All this shopping is possibly helping to get our house finished!! (or lets just believe it is)

I would yell at them to bugger off... I did that once when I got sick of the ump-teeth hawker in Vietnam trying to sell me over-priced touristy crap. You are not alone... ?anger management maybe?

After 8 long weeks of being in hubby FINALLY put up our extra lights

Just found this thread, I'm from the area and think I saw this on the market this year and when I was looking at the kitchen in this thread I was like wait... I've seen that before. Beautiful house.
