Gap in floor is this normal ?

So we're at fixed stage now and I've noticed a gap between my wall and the slab the wall over hangs is this normal I feel it's not



Not if they are going to carpet there, we had the same thing and now having issues with the carpet so they had to fill with cement. They also filled it when tiling.
