Owner builder Purlin query

Hi everyone,

Has anyone here got a good understanding of purlin spans. Our engineer had specified 200 C or Z purlins @ 1.9mm thick. Our spans are between 7.5 to 8.5 meters.

I have installed 200 x 1.9mm Z purlins with a single midspan bridge and 1200mm apart.
Our roofing is klip-lok sheets.

When I walk on the roof it feels slightly bouncy. I'm concerned that our future ceilings will crack etc....
Does anyone here have any suggestions or an understanding of what spec purlins would normally be used in this context.

(I have also posted this in my Owner Builder thread)

Thanks
