Advice on brick colour variations

What do you think? Is it good enough?
Although having said that it does look a bit funny that there's dark blotches on the bricks on the lower part of the house (near the door) and none on the upper part (where they have obviously cleaned the bricks off to make them blend in more).
What do you think about it?
I would request to have the house fully rendered. It would probably make you feel better, also increase your house value.
BTW this was done using Nawkaw
Looking at the picks IMO it looks like about 20m2 of brickwork is vastly different to the rest of the house.
20m2 at 50 brick per m2 is 1000 bricks. As the front upstairs is usually the last part that is laid I'd ask to see the original callup information on the total quantity ordered and how the deliveries were made.
IMO they either short ordered 1000 bricks and got a "new" batch to finish or the supplier stuffed up and sent out a different batch.
Either way the bricklayer should have had a look, made a phone call and asked the supervisor and supplier to view the bricks before laying them.
The earlier deliveries have only light "hearting" on the brick face and the last delivery is almost all "hearting".
RE The NAWKAW- They can do better than that.
Is "hearting" those oval shape marks that some of the bricks have?
Yeah those bricks clearly haven't been blended properly - that's something that the brickies should have done when laying them.
As the others have said; I don't think there's much that can be done to fix them short of rendering or replacing the lot. It's not really the manufacturer's fault though as they usually have directions on the pallets as to how to blend them.
Best of luck with getting it fixed

As a bricklayer i can say that i do blend bricks on site however, when jobs such as these where big 2 storey homes are built on small blocks in newer estates basically on the boundary, there often isnt enough room on site to have all of the bricks delivered at once. Site supervisors do 'call ups' on the initial order. At the end of the day what you see is a poor result but don't jump to conclusions about the bricky.
We are paid nearly the least as a percentage of the house but is expected to make the biggest effort on the Aesthetics.
Is it any wonder there is a bricklayer shortage?
I have the same problem with my bricks, just want to know what do you think about Nawkaw? It looks like you had moved in for 5 years, is the Nawkaw colour fade or still keep the same looking? Do you know how much they charge?
Thanks a lot
Here's how it looks now:
I haven't even thought about it for years now.

The fastest thing a builder will do is bank your cheque, those systems work perfectly with lightning speed, everything else is slow burn. Just the way it is.
