Freestanding pergola DIY

Hi, all, thinking to build a freestanding pergola similar to this , height is around 2.7m above ground, 6 meters wide, using 4 posts (maybe 5?) on one side !does anyone know what size of the posts should I use? Thinking maybe 150X100mm (10mm thickness )would be strong enough? And what’s the maximum overhang length? Those beams look like around 1.5m wide.. advice please!
Hey OwenZhang90
The internet is a wash with fake Renderings and pergolas ( Search the Image) here
Pergolas Take your pick
The problem becomes without certified engineering details
3D Images will never be approved and then you have the problem of reconciling Cost$ with what appears to be a real image?
I've heard them described as Funky chunky Steel Columns ?
What's funny is they will take a chunk out of your wallet
100 x 150 x 10mm RHS Cost $1000/length
Cheers
Chris
