Hello All,
Anyone had similar noises with their metal roof? Happens almost all day and through the night, with metal clicking noises through the frame etc.
Any ideas?

The fasteners secure the roof material (in this case, the metal) to the roof deck. 2. Use Adequate Insulation. 3. Use Suitable Underlayment. 4. Overlay the Metal. 5. Use a Raised Profile. 6. Use Thick Metal Sheets. 7.Use Textured Metal Sheets Re: Metal Roof Noise 3Jan 10, 2021 9:26 am I’m an architect. These steps are for an ordinary metal roof on battens, not an insulated roof panel. I’ve installed the panels on my granny flat and the noise of rain is loud. It took us ages to get to sleep. Am now considering installing a secondary ceiling on framing with insulation blanket beneath without any connection to the panel. Be warned Nope, only on the inside, I've literally has my ears to the brick outside and can't hear anything. I can sort of 'reset' the noise by pressing firmly on the studs.
