Browse Forums Building Standards; Getting It Right! 1 Nov 21, 2010 12:39 pm Hi there, Is there anyone building with AusHomes at Fitzgibbon chase. I need to know the standard inclusions, which I afraid AusHomes is charging me extra. I beleive AusBuild and AVJennigs give many thing as standard inclusions, AusHomes charge extra. For example, AusHomes has fan light, which is very close and seems dangerous is a kid jumps on her bed (which is very common). Changing to standard lights + fan costs extra etc.. Re: Fitzgibbon Chase - AusHomes - Standard Inclusions 2Nov 23, 2010 10:09 am Hi NewStar! We are building one at FitChase with Aushomes too. Which stage is ur lot? We also noticed the fanlights they supply and yes, I agree they look ugly and dangerous. If you dont want to make your ceilign higher, as it costs $$$, you can tell them you're going to supply your own. However, we were told that if something goes missing, they dont provide replacement so you need to give them the fans when they're in the schedule of installing them. Just to let you know, customer service isnt their best. You have been warned! If you had the options to go with the other builder, you would want to think about it. Re: Fitzgibbon Chase - AusHomes - Standard Inclusions 3Mar 14, 2011 12:07 pm I have built with Aushomes at Fitzgibbon and was actually quite happy with the build. The house standard inclusions were not of the highest quality, however compared to AV Jennings and Ausbuild the price was around 20 k cheaper. Definetly worth the money saved. 5 6031 What we have done in a few theatres ( including my own) is run 2 layers of 13mm gyprock, but sounds insulation especially for the bass is really tricky as a lot of that… 4 2894 |
