Hi guys, am just after advice on how to install a Jason aluminium sliding door frame. The frame will be mounted in a timber stud wall, which will be framed to suit the door frame.
The framing has a 40mm piece protruding from the centre of the frame, the full length of the external. I havnt seen one like this before, and im not sure how to make it mount flush to timber framing with this in the way.
Has this frame been supplied wrong? Eg suits brick?

Basically the fin will be flush with the front of the studs and your reveal will be the stud plus internal lining thickness. Jason have really good details that you can download that show how installation is done however you now have to have an account to download them. You only need to register to get one or ring them and request that they email you the fixing detail.
