Re waterproofing

My builder has tiled my bathroom wrong and has since ripped out the existing tiles. Will they need to redo the waterproofing before tiling again?

Depends on how careful they were, but I'd say so. We had to pull out three 600 x 300 wall tiles during our build and certainly needed to redo the waterproofing under those.
The water proofing membrane would most likely be compromised and l would redo the waterproofing
