Does anyone know roughly how much it would cost to change the floor waste from a normal one to square floor waste. The reason is the builder said each square floor waste would cost us $75($75x6=$450). But quoted us $880 in total.
This is what the quote reads
"Provide Square Bermuda tile insert grates to the Ensuite (2), Bathroom(2) & Powder Room
(2) in lieu of standard floor vent grates, as per Colour Selection. (6 in total).
Note
- Price includes recess to Powder Roomfloor vent area (approximately 200mmx 200mmx
20mmdeep), necessary to install puddle flange for Square Bermuda tile insert grate. (2 in
total)
- Price includes to cut out & frame upper floor for smart tile floor waste recess. (4 in total)"
Other information,
We have added a shower to the powder room, could this be the reason?
Can someone shed some light on this?
