What is going on with this tile grout (or tiles)?

Having moved into our newly built place recently, I wiped our bathroom walls with a damp microfibre once, and the grout has been doing this after 3-4 weeks of not being touched at all. I thought maybe humidity from showers was a factor but some of these pictures are far away from the shower cubicle, and we make sure the bathroom is properly ventilated.

Anyone know what is going on?

Efflorescence is what is happening, there must be something reacting causing the salts to come to surface of grout and bleeding out.
