Browse Forums Bathrooms and Laundry 1 Feb 06, 2020 12:54 am We live in Perth and are just about to Seek quotes to renovate my mother-in-law’s bathroom. She does not like to window in the toilet and would prefer one that can be completely closed. Is it permissible to install a window that can be fully closed to long as it can also be opened to ventilate the room? Re: Toilet Ventilation Rules 2Feb 06, 2020 8:44 am We're in Perth. Ensuite toilet (not out in the open, in a separate room) doesn't have a window at all. Council requirements meant an extraction fan had to be installed. Other toilet has a window that cannot open but have a 50mm section at the top which was just flyscreen. I glued some Perspex over this as there's an extraction fan in there. Brass fly wire, you will need to cut it, shape it and jam it into brick slots 1 8039 1 2058 |
