need some ideas as I'm seriously stumped.
Our block is on a corner, which is extremely helpful while we're building a granny flat. The granny flat itself will be facing this street ie this side fence, with full view to this access gate.
As you can see, currently we have full height double gates in place but want to change them as they're pretty hideous. Also, as my mother will be living in the granny flat, I am trying to make the garden attractive for her and also provide her with access to the street.
She is already feeling anxious about living in a box in our yard so I am desperate to avoid the prisongate-look.
I was thinking - for ease of use - about a gate system that has a single gate somehow attached ? so that she is able to open it without difficulty ? she's 90 !
Ideally I'd like to keep the double gate system for future tenants who might want car access.

Funny though that I couldn't find amything similar on oz websites. Obviously no demand for this kind of opening.
