We’re planning a kitchen reno at the same time as our extension and I’d love some help with the layout. Had a kitchen designer out but they weren’t very helpful tbh.
The current kitchen is a U shape with the sink on the window, but that whole wall is being removed to create an open plan living area. Our new kitchen will be 3mx2.7m so it’s certainly a lot smaller than most on this forum!
Option A (below) is probably the one I’m leaning towards most as it gives us the most bench space and an extra bank of 900mm pot drawers. The big downside is no pantry though.

Option B gives us a good grouping of stove next to microwave/oven stack and fridge next to pantry but the sink would be quite cramped and you would have your back to the whole room.

Option C is a better sink position, less cramped but I’m not sure about having the microwave/oven on its own away from stove top and the flow from prep area to cooktop isn’t as good in this one as it’s a step and a full turn around rather than just a side step and half turn.

There is another possibility of having the sink on the 3m bench, but I’m not a huge fan of sinks facing the open area especially since we don’t have/not getting a dishwasher and we rarely stack clean dishes away (we just take from the drying rack when we need them again). Also feel like that would break up our prep area…
This is a rough floor plan of the extension if that helps.

Any thoughts H1 kitchen gurus? Would love feedback and opinions as we cant afford to fix it if it we get it wrong!
