Browse Forums General Discussion 1 Sep 18, 2019 1:27 pm Gents Would like to cordon off a corner of my garage, drawing attached. My intention is to fix studs along the concrete floor and plasterboard ceiling. And then go and get some dark fabric from spotlight and fix to the studs acting as plasterboard. My question is: 1. What would be a suitable fixing for the stud to the concrete floor. Floor is polished concrete, home in a rental and i intend to remove this complete setup in 6 months. I was thinking some sika floor pro in small dabs only. Any help appreciated. Because it's an L shape, if the 2 sides are attached together it can't fall over. If you want to secure it you could just put a couple of screws into the wall each side. Once you take the screws out and pull the 2 frames apart you can drop the lot. Does it need to be light proof??? More a screen that you cant see through. I want to put some expensive items in there that pedestrians will not be able to see when walking past. Re: Privacy screen in garage (drawing attached) 4Sep 18, 2019 6:12 pm I assume the roller door goes into the backyard and the garage has no garage door and is open? Are the expensive items weak to weather? If they are not, it might be safer to build a temporary roof for it and place it in your backyard beyond the roller door.
