I have to build a (cheap!) retaining wall and was wondering what is better for the posts, logs or sleepers? Does it make a difference? Doesn't have to look good just has to be strong. The wall will be about 10m long and 1m at it's highest point. Thanks! Adam. I used galvanised steel posts - Retain-It system. Just concrete them in and they are so sturdy.
