Re: [NSW] Gregory Hills - Roll Call! 997Jul 15, 2014 6:12 am Glad to hear people like firstyle as we are about to sign with them to build at Gregory Hills. We have been dealing with Craig at Oran Park who we have found most useful Can anyone that has moved in give me an idea what u have paid for fences? And also if you have had to pay any extra for soil/slab due to Gregory Hills issues? Thanks! Re: [NSW] Gregory Hills - Roll Call! 998Jul 15, 2014 10:00 am Thanks guys! Beechwood has already provided us a free tender. I'm going to meet up with Firstyle and Casaview on the weekend (hopefully they also offer the tender for free). For people who have already started building at Gregory hills, how much roughly did you end up spending on site costs/BASIX? My lot is still unregistered so it is difficult for the builders to make assessments at this stage. I don't wanna end up committing to a tender filled with provisions but at the same time I need to keep moving with the planning but not end up going over budget. (First home buyer here so I don't have much knowledge about building a home.) 30/01/16 - Site works commenced 02/03/16 - Piering completed 19/03/16 - Slab poured 06/04/16 - Frames completed 15/04/16 - Fascia/gutter/roof rail installed 20/04/16 - Roof tiles completed Re: [NSW] Gregory Hills - Roll Call! 999Jul 15, 2014 11:22 am jaxology Thanks guys! Hi Jaxology, I am also first home buyer in Gregory Hills, we dealt with a lot of people till we finally came to the decision of Masterton. When is your land registering? As for the site costs etc. I found that most builders won't know final until the land is registered, but most of the time they can give you an approximate figure. If money is tight and worried that site costs will get you I would suggest waiting until land is registered, that way you get full amount in the tender (minus your upgrades) Hope it helps a bit! Re: [NSW] Gregory Hills - Roll Call! 1000Jul 15, 2014 1:18 pm You don't necessarily have to wait until the land is registered but they do need to have access to the site. I got my tender done over 4 months before land was registered but they had access to the site (although no 149 cert we knew we weren't affected by bal and flooding etc). Site costs were fixed and did not change one cent - tender signed in Sept 13, construction started May this year. Not too far from you guys I'm in Elderslie but did seriously consider Gregory Hills I think it'll be a great community with jobs on offer very nearby plus good transport options. http://camdenbuild.blogspot.com.au/ by invite only please pm me Thanks again Simeon for being so elaborate. Appreciate it. Its gives us a very idea. Kind Regards 4 4563 LANDSCAPE DESIGN HILLS DISTRICT - BEST LANDSCAPING IN THE HILLS Are you looking to design a new garden in The Hills District Sydney?
