Nope thats enough!
I thought you were already a moderator Matt.
Hey i'd definitely be interested... I'm on most days for most of the day, so would be happy to get mor involved.. Please contact me to discuss.

Also have you thought of using a double opt in system where you have to copy one or two sets of numbers/letters in sequence. I thought that that was supposed to get over those sorts of issues. Wouldn't that help, along with more moderators of course.

Love this forum and happy to help out wherever possible.
Not here Michelle!

Hi Jason, what exactly is involved in being a moderator? and how much time commitment is required?

Hi Ruth,

In being a moderator your membership is bumped up from 'general user' status to 'Moderator' status.

You'll be able to login the same way and engage in forum activity as per usual, with the user interface appearing pretty much the same.

To add however, you'll find a few more links such as:
  1. 'Moderate This Forum' which allows you to move entire topics to more suitable forums, or to delete, lock or unlock topics.
  2. You also be able to 'edit' and / or 'delete' posts.
You'll probably find on occasion the odd pharmaceutical product, or pornographic post which will need to be deleted. It simply means you have authority to delete the nuisance posts by simply clicking the 'x' beside it.

Please advise if you're interested in helping out as a Moderator.
Hi Jason,

I'd be happy to help out as I am on the forum on a daily basis and it doesn't sound too difficult!

How do moderators know who is doing what? So that there is no overlap - or doesn't it matter?

Cheers
