I have a quote from a uPVC window manufacturer which states that the flyscreens are aluminium, glasses are toughened 5mm glass. The quote also states that the “windows are BAL 29 compliant”. In NSW we would get the window manufacturer to supply a certificate on completion confirming their BAL rating to get passed by the certifiers here.
