Mernda Villages 1882May 17, 2010 8:26 am Jayneylou Well I'm now at lockup and these are the latest of the Saturday series of photos - more are on my blog. The house is looking fantastic... I'm getting more and more excited each time I go down there. Lockup AND plastered? They are going so fast! 'A bottle of wine contains more philosophy than all the books in the world.' We keep joking that I just might be in there by my birthday... this sounds less silly each day. Re: Ladies and Gents, step right up! Mernda Villages 1885May 17, 2010 2:03 pm The feeling is really different when u walked in ur plastered hse. So great, right? Then, maybe u should look at window furnishing at the moment, and getting quotes. It takes nearly 1 month to get holland blinds, vet. blinds and romans. When ur hse is ready to move in, then u will already have the blinds ready Re: Ladies and Gents, step right up! Mernda Villages 1886May 17, 2010 6:14 pm I went for a walk today through the new stages - I can't believe how much has been done in the last month or so! Mernda Villages 1887May 17, 2010 6:28 pm lisanne I went for a walk today through the new stages - I can't believe how much has been done in the last month or so! I did the same thing here yesterday; it was gob-smacking. Suddenly S/land seem to be rushing to do things... New land releases being pushed through too. We'll be full soon. Maybe the end of all the construction is actually in sight. Re: Ladies and Gents, step right up! Mernda Villages 1889May 17, 2010 7:40 pm Machiars Lisanne, we went for a walk through there too. Looks like the footpaths are going in now. From memory it is supposed to be ready in 2 weeks. Not sure it will be ready in 2 weeks, the blocks closer to me are further ahead and aren't ready yet 'A bottle of wine contains more philosophy than all the books in the world.' Not too stressed, means we get to save our $$ for a tad longer. The rest seems to be cruising along, hope the land isn't delayed for ages though. Re: Ladies and Gents, step right up! Mernda Villages 1891May 18, 2010 2:48 pm Just finished our 3hr+ colours / fixtures / fittings appointment - so glad that is all done. The seemingly endless options were starting to stress me out! Very pleased with our colours, fixture selections and upgrades - checking out the posts & photos on this site helped a lot with choices. Finally went with Austral bricks in 'parchment', and a fantastic colour for our glass splashback - storm (metallic). Can't wait for land to title (25th May - here's hoping!!), approval and the buildiing to start. Re: Ladies and Gents, step right up! Mernda Villages 1892May 21, 2010 9:19 pm Righto folks, where is the best place in regards to price for swap n go gas bottle? and what is the cost? My gas ran out and my bottle is 10 years old so I can't get it refilled as it's too old so I either go the swap n go option or buy a new bottle and get it filled at Rays 'A bottle of wine contains more philosophy than all the books in the world.'
