Table Lamp Size

Just wondering if the table lamp size is okay for this bedroom.

Is it too big?

It is a king size bed.

Wall artwork to follow.

It's a bit big, but looks OK to me.

Is the lamp shade too big?

I just cannot seem to get the lamps right.

This is my third one.

Personally, I think the base is too big for the table and takes up too much space; but the shade is certainly in proportion and a smaller one would look odd on that base. However, it’s not that big a deal. They are very nice lamps and certainly suit the decor of table, bed and wall colour. If I already had them (as you do) I would be happy with them as the are.

Here are some photos with another lamp I had purchased.

Out of those, I still like the cream one best, but the blue is a better size. Pity that size wasn’t available in cream.

The two pictures where you have changed the shades over just look comical, and made me laugh out loud (sorry, but they did).

Such first world problems we have

Actually, you know I am warming to the larger cream base lamp, and it look less overwhelming in those more recent pictures.

I think I am going to keep the cream base lamps.

Please, just not with those small shades
