Sorry no sure if this is the right forum but I've got these old annoying swivel downlights that I have no idea how to get the globe out of. Anyone know the trick?? I've googled/youtubed and I can't find a downlight that is similar to this....

The globes have 2 straight prongs at the base that push into a holder. Yours looks like that black ring around actual globe either pulls out or closes up together as per a circlip to remove globe.

needle nose pliers to pinch the 2 end of that plastic circlip together. then remove circlip, get a piece of thin string, wrap it around the globe, twist together the string in ur hands so it grips the globe and pull.

Hi, you've probably already resolved this, however, Commbank will probably pay the funds to you after you send evidence the work is done regardless the change in the quotes.
