Broken terrazzo step

Hi guys,

We own a 1960s house with terrazzo steps on front and rear entry doors.

The front step has broken apart on the house-side of the door where the transition strip was embedded. There are a few chunks of terrazzo above the rusted rebar.

Is it possible to repair this, perhaps with resin or will I need to replace it?

Any resources would be great as there isn’t much info apart from polished flooring. I also saw a previous post from 2016 about this

Not a great photo but you can see the crack on bottom left

Do I need to concern about this pattern of crack? Is this crack showing some signs of bigger problems? Thanks for any suggestions!
