Roller Blind Gaps

Hi All,

Log time lurker first time poster looking for some advice.

We have just moved into our new house. We have roller blinds that were included with the build. As all roller blinds we have the gaps on the side. However the master at the front has a bit of an issue. One of the gaps is exactly in line with where my head goes. I get the morning light as well as the night light as we have a power pole out the front. I have a sheer curtain going on top for privacy which is fine for day time, but you will still be able to see in at night with the lights on. I don't want to add drapes as I am not a fan and three window coverings on one window is overkill.

Just looking for any suggestions to solve this. A couple I have are

- Getting a small lining approx 40mm wide to hang behind the sheer in white so it looks like it is just wall
- Putting frosting border around the window next to the frame but only a small strip. Not sure if that will look funny?

Thanks in advance
Option 3 - Buy a new roller blind.
