Yes yay for progess.if the support bar was flat l would leave them,l like
the simplicity of the roller blinds, will see what happen with builders
responce.
Bugger Pc,hope it all works out,it will.
Cheers for photos,it all looks lovely & green
HI K-A,spoke to builder. He will talk to A&L windows to see if support
can be replaced with a flat metal bar,if yes l will leave as is,if not
l said remove and get the ones that l had told Draftsman l wanted
(l sound like a spoilt person)Roof to start on monday. This is Christmas
on our slab

You don't sound like a spoilt person ... you are entitled to get what you asked and paid for!! It may seem pedantic now but when you move in you will regret not pursuing it.

We have already had the tiler back to our place to replace 5 tiles in the main floor and two in the ensuite and now there is one more tile that needs to be replaced as he cut it too short so the silicone looks cr@p. We could give in and say don't worry about it but it's in the powder room and just screams at us when we look at it so it's going to be replaced. It's not our problem - it's the builder's and they need to fix it. We have given in on the window sill in the family room which looks like it is cut too short but it is in fact the architrave that is not straight and as that is a huge job to fix we will leave it.

Stick to your guns!!
Thank's for that,l do need to focus more on what l am paying and to be
happy with the end result, and not regret l didn't stand my ground. The builder is
such a gentle person( very honest) hard to be forceful.Normally l am
strong and get what l pay for, will need to get ME back.Good on you for
making Builder fix your beautiful tiles
Hi Pattycake,

Just came for a look at yours, LOVE your plan.....would love to have an acre block!

Great to see progress for you guys after the false start with driveway and am loving your mood boards and inspiration...what program did you do your mood board in? I really need to build a few more houses just so I can decorate with all the different styles I like

Looking forward to watching your build come together
Hi JLD,

l think l used olioboard, there are other programs, some use powerpoint.
let's hope our builds run smoothly, what style do you think your
home will be,l am thinking modern/french provincial if l can pull
it altogether.
Hey Pattycake,

Love your plan, your verandahs are gorgeous.

Fight for your windows, you are paying huge amount of money for them. You really deserve to have it how you want it, you are definitely not being spoilt, requesting what you want. You go girl
Thanks gogo56

Yes i'm going to fight,if they can't modify the windows so l can have
blinds recessed,then they will go.Update have 3/4 of a roof,hope tomorrow
will be a colourbond moment

How exciting nearly a roof! Ours doesn't start til tomorrow and is tiles so will take a few days.

Love Love French Provincial but we've decided to go Coastal/Hamptons style, looking for a relaxed feel to the house but pulled together if that makes sense

Thanks for the heads up re the mood boards
Ok short story windows have to have the support, where l live it gets very
windy,if l have the three panes they will still need that support, instead of
one support there will be two.l have decided to leave as is.On a much
HAPPIER note l have had my COLOURBOND MOMENT
:

same colour as V's(BUSHLAND) hope to get pics tomorrow.
Oh I like the two but understand why you didn't want them.

Very exciting about your roof, look forward to seeing it
Hey JLD
l like them better, the two do look ok,DD prefers them.
Congratulations on gutters.
Oh YES,YES,a colourbond moment

Dont worry re the windows,it will still be lovely
HI Kerry, the more l see the more l like them.l have now done that thinking
process(you know, the pros versus cons)l will pop over and see where
your at.
Thanks pattycake....seems so silly that we come on and get excited over gutters
That's great news about your colourbond moment, Pattycake.
But you know the rules...photos....hasnt happened until there is proof

yep come on girl
Yes l will get to it.l am on a mission re roller blinds, think l have found a
solution to banging when window is open.
Congrats on your Colorbond moment Pattycake, great news!

And glad to hear you're happy with your windows too
