How to keep council happy with 2 diff building materials

Hi we have picked Midland Brick, Florentine bricks (limestone colour) and our roof/gutter is colorbond Ironstone. We are building in Byford on the scarp and covenants say we have to have 2 building materials. What have others done and any suggestions on what we can do. I don't want red brick on the sills, we aren't having any arches to render. Also any colour suggestions for our 2nd material? We will be having black or annodised grey windows and woodgrain garage door. Please help lol
We aren't in the same area, however had a similar covenant. We used brick, render, ecoply on the garage, and weathertex upstairs to achieve multiple finishes.
