Frameless shower

Hi. We just had a $40k Reno on our bathroom. The builder suggested a frameless shower screen, as in a glass panel and a swinging open glass door. But it’s frameless. It sits quite low to the floor and as such we can use a bathmat. Is this normal to have a shower such as this and not be able to have a bath mat? Any advice would help. Thanks.

Most doors also swing inwards, however we just put the mat to the side to step onto it after a shower. Also, I like to dry myself off as well as my feet inside the shower before stepping on the shower mat otherwise they get quite wet.
