Reece (Mizu) push plug - any leak?

I bought the Mizu 32/40 overflow push plug from Reece and asked a plumber to install it in the vanity basin for me. He said this plug only looks good but has a tendency to leak on the bottom. He said he could provide another plug and install it for me.

Has anyone heard of leakage problem with the Mizu plug?

Fitzy
They dont leak, we have half a dozen of 32mm versions.

But buying the rubber seal for the pop-up cover part is impossible.
After 5 years the seals hardened and started cracking.
You can buy a new cover complete with the seal at Reese for $17.50 but they carry only female covers.
We have male (under cover fitting).
Tried to buy a set of 4 PROFORMA seals from Reese but they don't fit and black ones are poorly made.
May need to replace the covers and pistons for about $20 a basin.

Anyone have seen the seals that work for the Mizu 32mm pop-up?
