Pressed Tin (Aluminium) as a Splashback

Hi, I am thinking of getting pressed tin installed as a splashback in the kitchen and bathroom. Has anyone else done this and how successful have they found it? Pictures would be nice to see too!!
Hi MumofaPrem - I love the look of pressed tin. I friend of mine has it in her Kitchen (federation house) and it looks fantastic. However she does have a stainless steel splashback behind her stove. I am pretty sure they are powder coated so it should be fairly durable, she has'nt had any problems with it so far. Sorry I dont have a pic for you. Goodluck and i would love to see a pic if you decide to go with it.
If you ever watch that cooking show (The cook and the chef) with Maggie Beer and Simon Bryant, you will see it used in her kitchen as a splashback and it looks great in the un painted finish.
