As you can see from the photos here http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_0FizvACDnZo/Seq9AehyD1I/AAAAAAAAAgM/d72a6QHRQks/s1600-h/IMG_0812_640x480.JPG

Our tiles are laid till where the waterproof membrane is set which is about 2 meter till the cornices/ceiling. We now have a chance to get the tiler to laid the tiles all the way to the cornices / ceiling and need to decide by tomorrow.

What is your view ? To leave it or laid it all the way to the top ?

Cheers
Are the tiles on the other walls also going to the same height? If so then do all four walls to the ceiling if you can. If it is only in the shower then I wouldn't.

There will only be tiles to both walls in the shower

Cheers
Are any of you very tall? If so, I would tile higher.
Bear in mind that cornices need to be packed out if you're tiling all the way up to them. Otherwise you won't see the step where the tiles stop & the cornice starts.

What is the waterproof membrane mate? Is it wetseal?

JB
I'd go to the top if you can. We have ours tiled not all the way to the top, but nearly, just in the shower area and I think it looks much nicer
Can we see a pic Donuts?

I'm trying to decide what to do here too....
Certainly I'd go a little higher than 2000mm.. At least one more tile... I don't like the floor to ceiling tile look as it appears to clinical!
Yep would be good to see one in the "flesh"so to speak. I have always thought that if it was only in the shower area then go to pretty much the height of the shower screen (this is what we have always had previously and what the kids are having in their ensuites - whereas in our ensuite we are doing every wall to 2m)
Anyone with a photo ? I need to get back to the tiler by today as he will be finished by today as the fitout electrician / plumber will be in on Monday/Tuesday

Cheers
here you go
(hoping you don't all decide NOT to tile higher after seeing my pics
)

Thanks Donuts - it looks good

I'm going to go and see the tiler on Monday to ask if he can go to atleast 2m, currently it is about 1.8m and DH is that tall, we didn't even notice it until we went to the house and the top of his head was level with the waterproofing stuff
