Toilet Bowl Level

The water level in our ensuite toilet bowl drops over a period of time (never timed) generally overnight, sometimes it drops low enough to allow foul air into the ensuite from the waste pipe.
I cannot see any water coming out from under the toilet onto the tiled floor, so it has me confused as to where the water is going. Our 2nd toilet in the opposite corner of our home has no such issue.

Can somebody give me a clue as to what is happening and a possible solution to the problem.
blocked vent pipe or plumbing not correct
nothing to do with that toilet
The worked perfectly for the 1st 12 months now it has gone weird.

Thanks for your reply, will get the vent pipe checked out first.
