Tiles on kickboard/plinth?

Hello all,

Our new vanity is sitting on a recessed box to conceal the pipe, but we can't decide whether to tile it with the floor tiles or the wall tiles. In the first photo the floor tiles that I have propped up against the box don't exactly continue the line of the tiles on the floor, but you get the idea.

Which do you prefer? All opinions gratefully received!





IMHO second option (no tiles) looks so much better
I would do the kick the same as vanity door colour, tilers will pop off after a while
Given the tile pattern, I'd suggest you keep the kickboard a plain colour. Either white, or the cabinet colour. If your tile did not have such a detailed pattern, I'd suggest going the tile route.
