Evec I just did some basic sums so assuming at the higher end of supply/install... Concrete 77sqm @ $120 per sqm = $9240 (we paid $80 per sqm but due to size of job most are at about $100 per sqm. Paving 43 sqm @ $150 per sqm (supply lay) = $6450 We were quoted $44 per sqm labour and even high end p...

Evec - I would get the quote broken down. How many SQM of concrete do you need? We ended up paying $80 per SQM Paving came in at about $120 per SQM supply and lay. Decking was more. We have ended up doing concrete with small sections we will build joining boardwalks for mix of materials and break up...

For us we are up to about 30k for concrete but there was over 360 sqm of concrete and retaining walls the blocks have cost us 7K We are doing the retaining walls ourselves and got a the driveway done but a local contractor. Cwiseman - yes, that painting is near the garage and our master bed. As for retaining walls it is also dependent on the type of block that you use, the ones I am using require Engineered Design over 1.2. Hi all, Looks like progress all around for everyone which is great. been MIA building retaining walls, we have about 500 blocks down thus far, another 850 ish to go! Its nice seeing it all take shape, however we were pretty good at estimating blocks but then I thought 2 tonne of base for the stones ...

We had aircon issues a well - it seems a common thing... Well after a massive downpour today, we will not able to start the prep work for our retaining walls. We need road base delivered first and about 5 tonne of it but the truck will get bogged - thats ok as I can find heaps of other things i can ...
