Best suggestion is to contact 3 Bathroom Renovation companies and ask them to quote, every site n job is different. Best to have your PC Items chosen so you can get an even balanced pricing across all 3

The main issue with screeding than tiling main floors are door heights, adjacent room floor levels, stair case for 2nd story becoming non compliant and if it goes into kitchen you will have lower benchtops and sometimes dishwa...

The home builder is trying to tell you that the Tile Thickness is different from the Laminate Floor Thickness when they are installed direct to slab but even a slightly qualified tradie can make the levels meet, it will just require a little bit of materials to make it works but it happens every day...

The easiest way to remove benchtops is have the builder install a standard laminate benchtop and a single row of tile above to achieve compliance. The laminate benchtops are only screwed from the cabinet underneath so very easy to remove along with single row of tiles

Builder is saying no due to him be liable to fix or change it if the stone mason he uses can not do this work. The stone masons builders tend to use are not always the best but mostly the cheapest. If you want that kind of workmanship than do it after handover with a reliable stonemason whos work yo...

There could be 2 things here with the creaking, first that the shower base expands and is pressing against the edge of the tile and the 2 surfaces are rubbing together. When they tiled they have have butted the tile too close to tray and not left room for expansion. Second is more serious which soun...

This is always a common problem I hear in the industry, but both parties will always point the finger at each other. Concrete Plant will blame the installer and vice versa. A lot of these cases end up in Fair Trading but never get resolved as it is very difficult to lay blame either way unless you h...

If you are doing around your pool in full sun i would use Stone Pavers like 20mm travertine as they dont get as hot. Anything left in the sun will get hot regardless of m...

Its extremely well insulated so keeping it hot is easy with minimal heating and vice versa. We brought ours from a Home Show in Sydney and saved about 3K ...

I have known 2 people who have purchased them and both sold them a few years later. They found the cost of keeping it heated was very high and they couldnt justify the cost for the use. 1 of them went back to std spa and other has never brought any pool/spa. I personally have a large family spa and ...
