We have had a couple of face bricks replaced during our build and the repairs have been good. We are however over them washing the bricks so much (again this week) as each time they appear to fade and show scratches, which is probably caused by the cream morter. That's a shame things will be delayed - so close to the end as well! Hopefully all this rain breaks soon and we get back to some sunshine. We are looking forward to a few days of sunshine, its been such a long wait for the render.

Bugger that your paving did not get done, hopefully not long now. Doors and frames are looking good, what colour did you use ?

The garage sectional door was installed today however the wet weather has meant that the acrylic render can not be done until the walls dry and this will delay the paving. https://forum.homeone.com.au/u/81131_1528210350.jpg Had a heart stopping moment when I spotted the monster sized GPO on the kitc...

Glad you got the mitred tiling sorted especially as Aveling have it listed as an inclusion on their website !! The tiling is looking good, hopefully lots of progress today. Do they really?? I didn't even know you could change the garage concrete pigment! Looks really nice. You've also had me googling treatments for the shower screens! Are you doing that yourself or getting someone in? You've got a really decent garden, do you know what you plan to do out the back? We are planning to d...

I can see how doors can get left unlocked but wide open, lucky you were up for a visit. Hopefully the fill-in SS has your flooring and blinds booked for early next week, talk about cutting it fine. My usual SS already had everything booked in before he went away & it has been smooth sailing unt...

Only been a couple of days since the garage floor was pored however the colour is looking similar to the dry patch on the paving sample, hopefully it should look similar to the wet paver when sealed. https://forum.homeone.com.au/u/81131_1527343916.jpg

When purchasing the dishwasher it’s referred to as semi integrated as it has the laminate front but you can still see the control panel. Fully integrated is a laminate panel with the control panel on the top edge of the dishwasher (so you have to open it to control) so no controls showing & you...

My understanding is a semi-integrated dishwasher will have a full width laminate panel fixed to the front and have it's own laminate kickboard section fixed to the base of it. Often they will create a plinth to raise the dishwasher to the correct height. The kick is a separate piece to the panels e...
