We did our skirting the other way around, they ended up looking similar in height due to the carpet pile and the 90mm worked out the right height to sit under the kitchen cabinets that finish against walls. My hubby still says that he will never install flooring and skirting to an entire house ever ...

The living area ceilings were eventually patched and painted, looking so much better. Now we can finally finish setting up our family room and activity room. https://forum.homeone.com.au/u/81131_1564498964.jpg

I’ve been mentioning things quite often, however I feel like they’re not really interested in hearing about it until the end, due to more damage being done by the trades working there. It’s like they’d rather get a list of things to do later (like chips out of bricks, damaged plaster corners, etc)....
They have a maintenance guy that does a lots of the cosmetic things closer to handover, the trades only comeback if nes...

Just as some feedback, I'm starting to notice very similar to what you've posted above in our garage and alfresco ceiling, however not inside the house as yet. The ceiling also looks like it's dropped a little in the garage in one corner and the cornice has dropped a little too and cracked badly. W...

The plaster flushing crew could bearly speak english and were smoking onsite. We wish it was just one room, unfortunately every room in our house has the same problem. We did a renovation on our previuos house 16 years ago and never had this problem, it appears the skill level required and standards have slipped.
