Thanks its expensive and I wonder if there is any advantage if its done via the builder. The independent contractor has quoted me 5K less than the builder. Further more any ideas as to if i can use sump tank water for irrigation of lawns etc

Thanks for the reply. The builder has provided me a fixed cost $14677 for the retaining walls. So they should credit me for the amounts.

Worth speaking to an electrician to come and give you a quote to remove fans and reuse Floor boards etc will get damaged and but its a hassle to rip apart and work with especially with nails etc windows not sure Aircon - not worth it better to sell There is a huge second hand market if you advertise...

I am presuming you are well in to the build or already have a window in place Its way expensive to do it after the build IMHO cheaper to get a variation done and install a sliding door. Presumably the door frame has to be recessed into the slab

Personally I would get the builder to do the flooring. It’s is a hassle as a some trades may have to return to fix skirting joinery kickers etc. I did everything turnkey including driveway And front gate through them. Simply due to lack of time on my part

Would choose Monument for windows and fascia too. Keep the colours minimal
