Hey mate, With the new trends towards LVT and LVP, I really appreciate that these seem to have a lot of positives. In your experience, what are the negatives? We were dead set on Recitified TIles until we researched and found that LVT is a superior product (in our eyes) and still looks decent as well...

Legend. One last thing, should we be going for "Looselay" even though they have to be glued?

Acoustic type being just a heavier set? I can't imagine itll be hugely different other than cost of course.

Great. Another Propoganda story. I can't stand anything that labels anything Made in China as inherently bad just because its made in China. They talk about LVT as a recycled PVC but then say as the number 1 problem is that there's no way to dispose of PVC? Are they joking or just have no common sen...

If your vinyl planks carry p hthalates (as most of them do), you are not okay, because they off-gas. Most? The two products I am selecting between dont.

99% of PVC in non-Chinese vinyl brands will be produced in China. I am not promoting anything. People to jump to their own conclusions. Toxicity of PVC is well-known, it is not only "my sources" or "your sources" issue unless you can provide right arguments. With regards to repa...

I guess youll never take your kids camping because of all the wood smoke, or fishing or swimming in the ocean because of all the free floating salts in the air? Or to your local Coles/Woolies because all their floors are LV now. Toxicity of PVC Because of PVC’s heavy chlorine content, [color=#1a0dab...

Success and Hammond Park are slightly older than Aubin Grove. All 3 have nicer areas and some less nice areas. Ive lived in Aubin Grove before. Currently building in Hammond Park but a new part of the area. Can't really comment on the rental value but houses are going pretty cheap there atm.

I particularly hate ours. Just looks permanently covered in grease and grime if I dont clean it weekly and its far harder to clean properly than an actual splashback. I wont make that mistake again.

The Lumina LUM 5S is not a Pivot Door. The Pivot LUM 5S is the pivot version You will loose some of the width using the Pivot System but if you want the extra wide front door, thats what you have to have. Either that or you have a double front door. You cannot use the extra wide Pivot version on hin...

They are essentially the same but they list as different products. The 1200 wide version is the Pivot LUM5S version. I know this because I had the same argument with my builder who got it wrong a few times. We ended up with teh single large pivot door but it was $$$$. I do not consider it a safety r...

I am at the stage of my house build where I am looking at windows and so far, I have only asked for my upstairs master bedroom to have double glazed at this stage more as a acoustic barrier than heat. The house is South Facing. I don't have endless money and I need cost effective solutions which is ...

Anyone had any experience with this and what we should be doing? Basically, we added the ComfortHush glass to our upstairs. Fantastic product but we made the mistake of not getting the pre-tinted glass at the front and my wife now wants privacy but able to have the curtains open. Which leaves me at ...

Yes these are things I am aware of. Its why I am asking what sort of product should I be using. As I stated, I dont want it for solar absorption, I want it for privacy. The one other positive that may allow this is that the windows are also south facing and will not see much direct sun.

and as I said, ask Viridian... but I am pretty sure they will say it is unwise. They just said it would void warranty. Which is a boring way of saying nothing other than to cover their butt.
