Hi, We built with PD prestige and must admit am really happy with the product BUT would highly recommend letting them just do the wet areas as per contract and after handover get your own guys to do carpet tiles floorboards etc. I saved around $10K doing this!! :z: :z: :z: Plus builders ranges are n...

Vanderlay I wish I knew about this pipe treatment as my house is past fixing and it woud be to late to get this piping system wouldnt it as it would need to run under the slab. Ideally we would all love it under the kitcken cabinets and skirtings but the builders dont seem to allow it. If you can convince your site supervisor to let you do it that would be great but I did not want to risk this and be left with a tiny skirting board. This is why I decided to upgrade (Only a...

upgrade to 92mm skirtings. It is the easiest and cheapest way. It will be extremly hard to avoid using quad with volume builders as they are not very flexible about th skirts. Even PD display homes have the quad so even if you went through the builder you would have to specify that you did not want ...

I would have not taken the home and not accepted the roof tiles being re-sprayed. If they are faulty tiles then they must be replaced with the correct tiles. We are all paying for new homes and new tiles (in the correct colour) is not too much to expect. :D

When I last built I found over forty scracthes inside and out and after they touched them up you could not tell the diffrence. You should go through each window and write down scracthes.
