In Victoria builder must give OC to the owner before handover and before asking for final payment. What is the problem with your OC? We are in NSW and require 2 positive covenants to be placed on the property didnt really underdtand this but apparently it will take a few months, and have just been ...

I've just built 3 stairs off a landing out the back and been told by the private certifier I need hand rails sorry tried to attach a pic but couldn't mine don't have sides so maybe that's why I'm in NSW

Im fairly certain handrails / balustrades aren’t required if the deck height is less than 1000mm. But given given the width of the stairs, not sure if that changes things. Any guidance would be appreciated Joe Victoria https://forum.homeone.com.au/u/88074_1686142321.jpeg

yes I understand that however getting the builder to do so seems very challenging there not very responsive and it appears that the building contract doesn't hold them accountable which is disappointing there are a number of issues with the build and its hard to know where to start when it comes to ...

Im still battling this with our builder they have stated they treated the mould but Im still waiting on any information to the treatment and when and who did the treatment I dont think they have had it treated at all and are just fobing me off but Im going to keeping going at them as its important ...

So who drew the plans - the builder? Whoever did them should have been aware of the rules for shadowing - all easily available on your council website. The neighbour can jump up and down all they like but if your plans are compliant with their guidelines then you should be fine. @ Holelot. The same...
