Did more landscaping over the weekend. Plants some agapanthus on the side of the house and some magnolias. We had artificial lawn also installed. https://forum.homeone.com.au/u/88159_1596958671.jpg https://forum.homeone.com.au/u/88159_1596958814.jpg https://forum.homeone.com.au/u/88159_1596958820.jpg

Landscaping slowly coming along. We have moved so much sand from the back and the front. There is now a small brick area at the back. Layed down soil compost and manure and have planted our first trees, lemon & mango 😃🤗 https://forum.homeone.com.au/u/88159_1594791953.jpg https://forum.homeone.co...

Deck is done! We did an overhang on the edges. The plan is to put some lights underneath. We chose Jarrah and like how it turned out. The red tones are beautiful. https://forum.homeone.com.au/u/88159_1584522210.jpg https://forum.homeone.com.au/u/88159_1584522218.jpg https://forum.homeone.com.au/u/88...

Just picked up our dinning table. Dinning table was made out of Marri and locally made, and painting is by an Melbourne artist named Lou Sheldon. 😍😍 https://forum.homeone.com.au/u/88159_1583573335.jpg

Wall paint was done this week. I have been nervous about our colour choices, since we are painting quite a few walls in Colorbond Monument which is a dark charcoal. I was expecting the rooms to feel smaller and darker, but surprisingly the dark paint in the voids makes them feel huge! Possibly beca...
Wow what a bold choice! Looks awesome in the void. And at least it can be repainted if you ever get sick of it.

Driveway and side path is now sealed. Next: decking for alfresco! Can't wait to stop having sand in the house. https://forum.homeone.com.au/u/88159_1583310609.jpg https://forum.homeone.com.au/u/88159_1583310616.jpg https://forum.homeone.com.au/u/88159_1583310626.jpg

We have moved in! What hard work. Won't be moving for a while after that experience haha. We had to layout the provisions for the retic before the concrete was poured and there was so much crap left in the ground from the knock down of the previous house - made it 10 times harder. Any who, driveway...
Love your driveway. Do you mind me asking what that costs sqm? Stunning. Thanks! It was $99 psqm

We have just moved into 9.4 x 43. We built a single 3 x 2 plus study and it's only the two of us so it's enough. However if we had two teenage kids I would look at double story so you can do zones, with a large enough activity room for the kids to hang.

Our cavity sliders finally got fixed this week. The builder is still working on one trade a week, which is painful to watch this close to the end. I hope things pick up now that the plastering around the doors is done. At least the builder has was flexible enough to let us get our built in wardrobe...
The cabinets look awesome! Loving the black handles and the colour of the cabinets

Nothing was too big or small to fix and was always willing to work towards a solution. We have been really lucky in that aspect, especially when yo...

We have hired a landscape architect to help us plan out our landscaping as we had no idea where to start. Really happy with what he has come up with. The hardscaping will be done by contractors, and we will attempt to do the softscaping ourselves bit by bit. I think he has definitely jazzed up the ...
