Unit 1 toilet is right next to the dining area - not only do you have a direct line of sight, but your diners will be able to share all the toilet sounds and smells with the user! You can solve this be creating a small hallway into the guest room, and accessing the wc and guest from there. The driv...

So, without changing the footprint of either floor (as you have planning approval) - I would rationalise the areas as follows. By shifting things on the ground floor and reducing the 'entry' area and extra hallway, the dining can come from the north wing into the central wing. Upper floor rumpus an...

This is just personal preference....... since your house is huge on the ground floor, but first floor seem to lack of space. I would expand to have bigger gallery + bigger bedrooms(3&4), make it ~ 3600x3500mm. Also mentioned on earlier post, perhaps make the toilet bigger with hand wash facility.

A Pull out pantry could solve your space dilemma. Everything you have in there is easily seen and accessed, rather things getting lost at the back shelves like Lexies' mouldy pickles! For the same reason, they are great when you need to write your shopping list- you can tell straight away what you ...
I concur, pull out pantry/light weigh cookware if I have a choice.

junk3569, They actually look pretty good. Unit developments are always a compromise, but I like 2 living areas, and decent sized bedrooms. The guest rooms are very (too?) generous in their allocation. Even in our 40sq plan, we've only allowed a single vanity. I'd try and have internal access from a...

I love the fridge design with the pull-out shelves! Did you have to find the fridge you wanted and measure the size up or was it standard?

Hello all, First of all, thank you for looking at my plans. Any input/feedback is welcome. After holding back building for several years, I finally decided to knock down and build 3 units on my block, in the south eastern suburb (VIC). The front unit will be "given" to a family member, the...

Thank you very much for your respond. I found one slightly cheaper but he doesn't sound confident. Whist the other one quoted around 14-16k. I will see a few more then go further from there. Thank you once again.

Hi, Long time member, on and off for a while!! A few years ago, I was going to build a new house at the back on the same block of land. Until now, I finally decided to knock it all down and build 3 units. I live in Springvale, VIC. I am very new to this and not sure what is the process going to be. ...

OMG, sound scary. I am sort of backing out of building ATM. May be it is wiser just to get a house and land package. I went to Mc Laruen the other day, they are the real prefesionals. Telling us what problems we currently have and need to be corrected before building. It's sound too difficult and co...
