Hi - I am a little confused about how builders do modern facades? As in the roof and sides of the house will not have the same look - ie the builder is not offering flat roof. I just can’t imagine how it work. Does anyone have pics?

@rockylot You haven't provided enough info to check that Do You Have the Contour survey, geotech report, and engineering details? Generally, if we can we put a sand pad down rather than excavate into rock? Sand is only $25m3.. just curious..was that considered first? BTW they should have discussed ...

Has anyone hit rock? How much allowance was needed? Builder says they can’t fix excavation cost.
