I have been a bit busy so haven't kept up with updates on the build. Slab sat for 10 days which was good before the framing was started, I was hoping they wouldn't do the framing too quickly so it gave time fro the concrete to set more. As of Thursday 6th they had done the gutters & facia ready...

It has nothing to do with soil test. $25K is just for OH&S, which Henley is refusing to provide any details of it. OH&S includes variety of things i.e traffic management, frana crane, OH&S singage (tiger tape) etc. Just wondering anyone else have experience similar treatment from Henley...

Sorry I misread your original post. I can't believe it's $25k just for OHS. If it is mate get another builder!

Get your own soil test and take that to builders along with your own contour survey. Get proper itemized quotes before you sign a final contract. I'm not sure supplying your own soil test results to the builder will result in them suddenly deciding to itemize the site costs. Most production builder...
