My advice would be just ask electrician to put conduits and pre-wire them where ever you plan to have lights and switches in the future, but do not want to put them as yet. It will save you a lot of hassle in the future and won't be costing a fortune. Measure and make pictures of where your wires a...

Oh good that you point out on the shadow part. Thank you. So I think the best for now is to just leave it as it is. No pendant light over the dining table is still fine I guess. Or if we have extra budget, we can add another pendant light there. Thanks arcadelt and mpricecs.
