Is 2.5 standard? There’s going to be plenty of room to turn around with a trailer behind the house so allowing for reversing shouldn’t be an issue.

Pretty sure you can't glue laminates down, only the timbers and oaks can be glued down and only if that company says they can. Upgrade your underlay....it will help a bit with the sound. :) Thanks. Is there a particular underlay you suggest for my application?

Thanks Michelle! That makes sense. I’m thinking I might go laminated boards in most areas then with carpet it the bedrooms and rear rumpus room. Will gluing the boards down give a better feel? Sound more solid? Or does it make no difference to floating them?
