Yes NSW, mid North Coast. Our Contract ends 5 May so we are still within time.... just... still ridiculous considering we are only building a 23sq single level home, and have had hardly any rain delays!! Do they install the hotwater tank prior to PCI or after so it isn’t their prob if it gets stolen?

Thanks BrownDog77. hmmm will be interesting to see whether PCI will go ahead Friday. I just can’t wait for this to be over. Coral have sucked the whole way through for us. Although reading this thread we have kind of had an ok run compared to some others.

Just wondering if anyone could tell me when they refer to the “silicon needing to be done at completion” which trade actually does this? We have our PCI Friday and hot water service, gas regulator and silicon need to be done. Am hoping it’s the plumber so we are only relying on one trade.. Thanks!

Yes ours were waterproofed on upper floor. Can’t remember lower floor powder room. May be different if on lower floor Thanks :)

our painters finished 3weeks ago and we have no pci date it’s been very slow since then, most Electrical’s done just need carpet, wood floors, shower screens & silicone to finish but no pci given yet I think SS is reluctant to give as not much has happened over last 3weeks Oh that is not reassur...

Yes I am in NSW. We are building Noosa 23. SS initially told me we would get the PCI date the first day the painters started and usually completion is about 3 weeks from then.. just curious as to why he wouldn’t have a PCI date in mind considering painters are now on site

Thanks! I think he is just relying on our completion date at 210 days that is listed in contract. (We were given this date at the time of commencement of build) I am just confused as to why it would take so long to complete from here 🤷‍♀️ And why he wouldnt bring the PCI date forward?

Hi, Our house is having internal paint start this week and the electrical fitout is booked for next Tuesday, SS is telling me to rely on “contract end date” if I want to rely on a finishing date... my Contract date is 10 May!!!!
