Thanks Mr Biggens. It’s too late for me to make changes as the house was finished mid last year. You’re right though it is a bit bland, and now the same house with same colour scheme is being built in the area so it’s prompted me to do something about it. I’ll check out your thread, thanks.

Has anybody done something creative with the brick piers on a Portico facade? We’re thinking of doing stacked stone, or rendering or even just painting them to brighten it up a bit. Pics and/or suggestions please?

Just wanted to say Hi and introduce myself. We've finally decided on Allworth for our build and will be building a modified Harmony 13 Entertainer around St Georges basin, just getting our second tender done. Finance is sorted and our land settles on the 20th this month and is already registered in...

Hi everyone I put in a quotation request today for the Avalon 4 Living. We'll be building in the Shoalhaven. Just wondering if anyone could tell me what their kitchen and electrical allowances were? And how far they got you in upgrades? Just trying to gauge if we've allocated enough or not [emoji28...

Hi guys, already done a fair bit of research on this and think I've pretty much got it figured out apart from how much hydrochloric acid I need. It's a clean new slab, been down for a few months and it's approx 80m square. Mixing acid at 1:10 ratio so I figure it'll go a long way. Google hasn't been...

We are about 1.5 weeks from handover now, it's getting exciting again! How are the other builds going? Any pics?

HELP PLEASE!! Started this building process 3 years ago and after 2 years with Council and a Land Subdivision we are now ready to build. We are building the original Harmony, when we started this process that is all there was! We were offered Casear Stone benchtops if we signed our tender back in 2...

Things have been progressing well lately. Tiler started yesterday, we're really happy with the quality of all the work done so far. The expected completion date is 24/4 and it seems to me they're well on track to deliver. When do you get the occupation certificate? I assume it comes after handover b...

Final inspection booked for Monday 6th march. Anyone know how long after this handover normally happens? I can't answer your question but curious about your build time? Is it getting close to the end of the contract timeframe or do you think they're ahead of schedule?

A little slow at the moment. Still waiting for our stacker doors to be delivered which is having a flow on effect to everything else. My shed's getting a roof today though.

Is it a bit difficult to find a way in at this stage? It's looking good, how long to go?

Update Our bricks are mostly done but there is a bit of a delay because our sliding stacker doors out to the al fresco were made back to front. Allworth have done as much as they can whilst waiting for the new doors but can't progress any further now. Went past this morning though and it looks like ...

What have people done with their al fresco areas? We're undecided at this stage. We were going to pave it but now are considering a deck. I like the paving idea because it's low maintenance but decks look great. Pics and/or opinions please!

I was able to get our a/c upgraded to a Daikin unit. The installer was very helpful. Our bricks should be done by the end of the week and there's plenty booked in with other trades next week. Very happy with the construction department thus far. They're so much more efficient than the admin at head...

I've just been doing a little research on the ducted air system provided with our house. It's called Brivis and the reviews are terrible! With so much going on I hadn't given this any thought until today when the installer called us. Does anyone know if it's too late to change this far into the buil...
